Marriage License Information

  • In order to successfully apply for a marriage license in Blanco County, the following items are required: 

    • Valid photo ID such as driver’s license, military I.D. card, passport, etc.

    • Social Security Number (SSN) 

    • Pay $82 marriage license fee 

  • You can complete the online marriage license application here.

  • Be sure to call the office after completing the application to schedule an appointment before arriving.  

  • Note that office hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and closed for lunch from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.

  • Couples that have completed a state-approved marriage class receive a $60 discount and waive the 72-hour waiting requirement to have a valid license.
