Marriage licenses are issued weekdays between 8:00am and 3:30pm.

In order to successfully apply for a marriage license in Andrews County, the following items are required: 

• Both applicants must have a valid driver's license or other government-issued ID

• Both applicants must have a Social Security card (the name on the SS card and the ID should match exactly unless additional identification is provided)

• Both applicants must be 18+ years old

• Pay $82 marriage license fee ($182 if both applicants are using an out of state ID)

Couples that have completed a state-approved marriage class receive a $60 discount and waive the 72-hour waiting requirement to have a valid license.
